Validation of activity of bovine interferons has been started

Previously FarmPharma AB signed a collaboration agreement with Federal Scientific Centre – All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Veterinary Medicine named after K. I. Skryabin and Y. R. Kovalenko of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Федеральный научный центр – Всероссийский научно-исследовательский институт экспериментальной ветеринарии им. К. И. Скрябина и Я. Р. Коваленко Российской академии наук” (ФГБНУ ФНЦ ВИЭВ РАН)). Today FarmPharma reports that the activity of bovine interferons produced by FarmPharma in partnership with Karolinska Institute is now tested at the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Veterinary Medicine.

“We are very glad to start the testing in accordance with our plans. The completion of this phase will allow us to select the best candidates among purified interferons for our product InterferOx – comments Irina Zaitseva, CEO of FarmPharma, – This is an important step in the in vitro development of InterferOx that will lead to the finalisation of the lead candidate formulation.”
